Yes this certainly does lean more towards the frivolous side than anything else that we’ve done. I really like Chris’ idea,and think that something like this does have a place in the UI, but we are extremely sensitive to use and abuse of screen estate. It’s not clear yet if it will make the final cut for Mylyn 3.2, and I’m going to reopen the bug to discuss. If it doesn’t make the final UI we’ll make it easy to get it as an add-on.

It just seems like a frivolous use of screen real estate. Now there’s no room for something potentially more substantive because of the “I’m Feeling Lazy” button. I’d love to get stats from the UDC on who uses it after the first few novelty clicks.

This should be called, “select an unfair task” button. I think it is unfair to the bug reporters to not fix the issues reported first in the same order.

Well, you *can* shake your MacBook (http://blog.isnoop.net/2006/05/20/macsaber-turn-your-mac-into-a-jedi-weapon/) or even smack it (http://blog.medallia.com/2006/05/smacbook_pro.html). Someone only has to write a Mylyn connecor for the sudden motion sensor of your MBP
